Race Day Details!

Schedule:

7:30 a.m. - Registration/Check-in begins

8:50 a.m. - Pre-race instructions at the start line

9:00 a.m. - 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run begins

9:30 a.m. - Post Dash Bash

9:55 a.m. - Awards Ceremony

10:05 a.m. - Husky Pups Run (for kids 10 & under)

New for 2012: The registration and Post Dash Bash area will be on the Red Square (on the upper UW campus) with the start line for both the 10K and 5K on Memorial Way. The finish line and kids dash will both be in the Quad.

Timing:

The Dawg Dash will be timed using Ipico chip technology. All participants must wear a chip on their shoe in order to appear in the results. Chips must be returned at the conclusion of the event or a $30 fee will be charged.

Race Parking & Check-in:

The most available parking will be in the underground "Central Plaza" parking garage that is located under Red Square. Vehicles enter the garage off of 15th Avenue NE. Other than the Central Plaza garage, please park only in legal spots. Carpooling, bicycling, walking or bus riding are all encouraged. The day-of-race check in will be held outdoors on Red Square.

Clothing Check:

A clothing check will be available near the registration & packet pickup area on Red Square. If you plan to check a bag and/or clothes, we recommend that you arrive to the event early. The clothing check area will open at 7:30am.
