This year's Great Kilted Run (5K) will take place at
Magnuson Park in Seattle. Utilizing the roads and the paths
within the park, the 3.1 mile route will provide a fun and scenic course offering stellar views of Lake
Washington, a section through The Fin Project airplane wings sculpture display and a return "Scottish Charge" up Kite Hill.
Read below for driving recommendations.
Magnuson Park is located at: 7400 Sand Point Way Seattle, WA 98115
To get to the Great Kilted Run venue site, please enter the park at the 74th Street Main Gate. Because of another large community event that will take place within the park, you will not be able to get to our venue site if you enter via the NE 65th Street park entrance.
Please also note that there is a current road construction project on Sand Point Way just north of Magnuson Park that has the south bound lane of traffic closed. If you are arriving from the north, you will want to head south on 35th Avenue N and then turn left onto NE 70th Street and head east towards Lake Washington. At the intersection with Sand Point Way, turn left on Sand Point Way and head north one block to the park entrance.
